The use of a clasp can reduce the pain that you experience and allow a degree of protected recovery to occur whilst you remain active. In our experience the ‘epiclasp’ is one of the better products. The are other types of clasps available, the epiclasp is a rigid clasp. There are softer material straps which aim to do the same thing and some patients prefer these for comfort under clothing.
We recommend that the clasp is worn by the user whilst the arm is likely to be in some active use, such as in everyday work situations. We do not recommend that you wear the clasp overnight in bed. It is to be used in conjunction with the exercises

The tape can improve the local tissue circulation, it can reduce localised swelling, reduce pain, and apply some protective support. This type of tape is becoming very popular, and is used widely in sport. This tape is water and sweat-proof and can stay on the skin for 7 days.
